1. General

  • EXEC will be organized April 5-6th in Berlin, Germany.

    The check in opens at 8:30, the program starts at 9:45 and lasts until 17:00 both days.

  • EXEC will take place at Kalkscheune in Berlin. The address is Johannisstrasse 2, 10117 Berlin, Germany.

  • EXEC is about meaningful connections. In EXEC we connect a curated crowd of shapers in the Fintech and Insurtech ecosystems. We bring together more than 800 startup founders, corporate executives and investors; all carefully cherry picked for you, so you don’t have to. EXEC plays a significant role in sparking exchange and cooperation. We have 6 years of successful events on our backs, first we started with EXECfintech and then EXECinsurtech; now it’s time to bring you all under one roof. Each of the verticals with their separate and focused agenda, but giving every participant full access to both conferences.

  • You have to be either working in a startup, as an investor or as a corporate in the fintech or insurtech sector come to EXEC. To ensure the high quality of participants first you need to apply for a ticket. You can do it here!

  • Even though the conference is hosted in Berlin, it is very international. Because of that the conference language is English.

  • You can find our suggestions here.

  • Food and drinks are available and included at the event. All you can eat, all you can drink.

  • Here is the Fintech agenda, and here the Insurtech one.

  • No! We wish. But we will host a party the first evening after the event that you can attend 😉

  • When does the Party start? At 9 pm
    Do I need to pay an admittance fee? No, the admission is free. You just need to get some drinks and enjoy.
    Is there a special area where I can meet the participants of EXEC ? Yes, we have a exclusive area in the “Wohnzimmer/living room” for you to network as well as dance.
    Where do I need to go? The party will take place in Birgit & Bier (Schleusenufer 3, 10997 Berlin).
    Is there a dresscode? No, come however you feel comfortable.

     

  • No ties. Whatever you want, but no ties.

  • We are not taking more speakers at the moment. However if you want to be in touch already for next events please write us in nia@exec.events

  • If you have over 50 employees or your growth rate is below 10% then probably you are a corporate.

  • Someone whose main goal in his company is to invest in business opportunities. E.g. someone from Google Ventures will be an investor while someone from Google will be a corporate.

  • You are a service provider for us if you offer highly targeted services that might not have too much to do with Fintech or Insurtech.

  • You can through our website. Go here and follow the process. If you want to come with more than 3 people from your startup email joma@exec.events to learn about group discounts.

  • Once you have been accepted you will be listed in our PIRATE Networking App. In the Matchmaking Tool, investors are able to suggest meetings kthe startups prior to the event. Your Matchmaking profile will be created according to the information you have submitted in the registration form. This information can be edited later from your Matchmaking tool account.

    You will also have the chance to apply for 1on1 meetings and to take part of networking tables; you will get an invite when it is launched.

  • We will generate an account for you in the PIRATE Networking App. This give you the chance to tinder-style swipe the other attendees and match with people that you are interested to meet. Matches will give you the chance to chat with the person and request face to face meetings when you both have a free time slot and suggest you a place to meet.
  • All pitches (except for the final of course) are taking place on EXEC’s first day, April 5th. Check your specific time slot here.

  • We accepted startups until the 15th of March. If you haven’t got any answer contact us in joma@exec.events

  • It will be 3 minutes of pitching and 2 minutes of Q&A from the judges.

  • Each category winner will receive a prize – we don’t believe prize money is the best way to help startups that are looking to raise a lot more anyway but with our connections and our other events we can give you something even more valuable! The winners from the Seed category will get a free trip to our crazy September event Pirate Summit, where we’ll pre-schedule a ton of meetings with early-stage investors for you to meet. The winners from the Series A category will receive a free trip to one of Europe’s VC capitals, either back to Berlin or London to have scheduled meetings with high-class VCs.

  • Judges evaluate the startups based on the categories Business Model, Traction/Growth numbers, Innovativeness, Market and Team.

  • After you apply for a Kiosk ticket, you will get a response within 48 hours.

  • The booths are sized at 2×1 meters. They come with a table, lighting and power supply. When planning your presence at your Exhibition Kiosk we kindly ask you to avoid too much paper as we try to be as environmentally friendly as possible. You’re more than welcome to replace the papers with digital content.
